So as to further carry forward the learning and education of the party building studies and strive hard to boost teachers’ classroom teaching level to realize the objective of ‘Being Eligible People’s Teachers and Running Satisfactory Education’, Anqing Foreign Language School’s general Party branch meticulously constructed a platform for party members and party activists to integrate learning and education into teaching and research as well as initiated the demonstration lessons of teachers with CPC membership.
To start with, on 15th March, teacher Li Jia with CPC membership of the first party branch and party activist Liu Yao showcased two open classes, ‘Ode to the Yellow River’ and ‘Write Out the Character Spirit’ respectively, in the Chinese Department of the Junior High Section in the west campus.
For one thing, teacher Li Jia displayed poetry teaching. She was impassioned but sometimes would whisper softly. Her teaching process felt like fluent prose poems, which let the attending teachers and students feel the Chinese national spirit--grandeur and adamancy.
For another, teacher Liu Yao demonstrated composition teaching. She not only wrote passages from textbooks freely without too much hesitation, but also could speak on famous masterpieces with great familiarity. Therefore, her teaching procedures were thorough and progressive. Evidently, young as she was, Liu Yao had abundant teaching experience. Thus, the two demonstration lessons won unanimous approval from the Chinese Group.
In a nutshell, the key of party building theories lay in action while the basis was learning. The two young teachers fully applied the new curriculum reform theories to guide their teaching practice and sufficiently aroused students’ enthusiasm by means of vivid and vigorous instructional mode, unique teaching design in addition to diversified teaching methods, which adequately reflected students’ dominant role and teachers’ leading role, formed favorable model driving effect, exhibited the elegant demeanor of teachers with CPC membership in the new age as well as specifically illustrated the activity of ‘Learning the Party Constitution Based on Posts’ initiated by Anqing Foreign Language School’s general Party branch.
